The Names of God was a series of sermons written and preached by Jed Snyder at various churches from 1990-2015. These sermons were the first time I recall hearing about God’s Names in the Old and New Testaments, and I was amazed at the insights it brought to the character of God. My wife and I continue to be blessed by other works that discuss God’s names, but this series of sermons will always be a special memory for me. The stories explored as the Names of God are reviewed are some of the most powerful in Scripture: Abraham and Isaac, Gideon, Joshua, Psalm 23, Moses, Ezekiel, and others.

Biblical Shepherding: A New Look at Biblical Counseling has just been finalized at the publisher and should be available to anyone who desires it by the end of January 2019. It can be obtained directly from Jesus Every Day Ministries, Inc. by requesting a signed copy by email, telephone or in person. It will also be available online from Amazon.com, but of course, Dr. Jed will not be able to sign it unless you bring it to him after you receive it. If enough copies are sold to recover the publishing cost, any further profit will go into Jesus Every Day Ministries.

This may be his most helpful book yet. It gives all readers a clear and beneficial way to help others. It deals with concerns that cannot be ignored. He uses easily understood language in a four-part outline; nutrition, hygiene, exercise and healthcare.

The author, Dr. Jed Snyder, has many years of successful teaching, counseling, preaching and evangelizing both in the USA and in several other countries. Though the book will be good for professional counselors and pastors, it will be useful to anyone who desires to help others. Dr. Jed’s experience is that the weakened state of evangelical churches in the USA is due, in part, because they do not have a grasp on or at least do not successfully follow these principles.

The per book cost is projected to be $15.99 for softcover, $24.99 for hardcover and only $3.99 for an e-book.
